Lenovo essential G500 (59-403742) Laptop (Pentium Dual Core 3rd Gen/2 GB/500 GB/DOS)

I purchased dis laptop from market on 31-5-14 for 23800 with lenovo laptop bag. first of all , let me clear some doubts and then tell u about its pros over competetion, 1.WIFI: dis laptop has 802.11N band wifi, so dont worry about no mention from flipkart in description. 2. MODEL DESIGN: the picture shown here is not of g500, but is of b590. the g500 has a flat surface speaker as compared to raised chin in b590 3.DRIVERS: it comes with driver cd for windows 8 and 8.1,but i installed windows 7 and all drivers installed without any problem. while in other brand laptops u have to download all drivers from their website only. 4.KEYBOARD: keyboard is a full one,with numpad 5. TYPING: GUYS, BELIEVE ME when i say this ,it has one of the most awesome keyboard to type ,named ACCUTYPE KEYBOARD, its COMFORTABLE AND ACCURATE, my sister have a 50k dell inspiron 15 laptop new model with chiclet keys and it is one of the most crappiest keyboard i have used, thats the only reason why i have chosen this laptop over ASUS X550C. 6.TOUCHPAD: multi touch synaptics touchpad with 3 finger support and gestures just like a macbook. 7.SPEAKERS: speakers are really loud, u need to install dolby drivers to know its audio capabilities, just pure bliss and really loud. 8. AUDIO: as mentioned above , it has dolby surround speakers,just listen to them if u can. 9.DISPLAY: display is really bright and not reflective like dell ones, and have great viewing angles, much better then dell inspiron or hp pavillion in this range. 10. FINISH: it has matt brushed finished, so no chance of fingerprints. 11.NOISE: absolutely no noise from laptop, neither from hdd nor from fan, it is one of the most silent laptops i have ever seen, lenovo specifically mentions about silent fan on laptop sticker. 12. TEMPERATURE: even with heavy usage, temps are great , under control and u will barely notice this any heat on ur palms. 13. HINGE: the monitor hinge is really tight and have no flex or wobble whatsoever 14. USB 3.0: it has 2 usb 3.0 ports and one usb 2.0 15. BATTERY: WITH MEDIUM TO HEAVY USAGE , I GET AROUND 4.5 TO 5 HRS OF WORKTIME 16. GAMING: it is a pentium dual core with 2gig of ram so dont expect high end latest gaming from it , but still with hd 4000 i can play relatively new games like fifa,pes, ac, cod:black ops. with decent framerates on low to medium settings CONS: 1. NO COLOR OPTIONS , ONLY BLACK. i'm planning to put a decals on it guys it is much better than dell or hp laptops in this range, only other i would suggest is asus x550c laptops if u like chiclet keyboards

its alright although i would go for toshiba in this range
