Go for the Lenovo Essential G500S (59-383037) if you want a notebook that is capable of acting as a nice business partner and doesn't ask you to spend much. However, you will have to bear with the slowness of RAM in handling multiple tasks. Otherwise, it has got a DVD RW drive, two advanced USB ports, a nice 1MP webcam and a sound battery backup as well.
