Awsome device......

The most awaited review
13 Sep 2017 By S. Pradeep kumar On amazon.in

The build quality and looks feels premium but the back plastic is easily prone to scratches. It's the most handsome looking mid-range phone. Now coming to the hardware, this phone never lags as of now during average day to day uses. Even the multiwindow operation is easily handled. I'm not a gamer so i cannot comment on that part. The phone does warm up a bit after about 10 min of net usage but never feels uncomfortably warm. But during charging time it easily crosses 40 degree. The rear camera is quite good as expected but the front is a disappointment. The battery easily lasts one and half day on average uses, of course, without gaming. The 0 to 100 % charging time is about 1 hr and 45 or 50 min. Quite fast considering the fact that it lacks turbo charging. Face unlock is reasonably fast though not comparable with fingerprint. It works even in low light but fails in dimly lit area where even your mom would have difficulty identifying you. And wow! It's the screen. The main reason why i bought this product. There are many Chinese mobiles out there offering finger licking good features but all of them indistinguishable from each other with the copy and paste designs. This LG product looks refreshing and if you love the screen, i know you will, and want to distinguish yourself don't hesitate to buy it. Go for it guys. Good luck.

Nowadays people are spoilt for choice while figuring out an ideal smartphone priced under Rs 15,000. With the influx of Chinese brands, the segment is now flooded with a lot of options.

So, to help you pick out a perfect daily driver, we have put together a list of the top 5 phones priced under Rs 15,000.

Moto G5 Plus (Rs 14,999 onwards)

The Moto G5 Plus is the latest entrant in the sub-Rs 15,000 price bracket in India. The mid-range smartphone from the Lenovo-owned brand was unveiled at MWC 2017 held at Barcelona. The device comes with a 5.2 inch full HD (1,920 x 1,080) IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. Unlike its predecessor, the Moto G5 Plus rocks a metal unibody construction thats slightly curved towards the edges at the rear. Powering, the Moto G5 Plus is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor and 3GB RAM. As for storage, the Moto G5 Plus comes with 32GB of internal memory along with support for microSD card up to 256GB in size. The USP of the Moto G5 Plus is its Sony IMX362 backed 12MP f/1.7 rear camera. This shooter comes equipped with a PDAF sensor and a dual LED flash. Apart from that, the smartphone packs a 3,000mAH battery with fast charging and promises fast Android updates.

Lenovo Z2 Plus (Rs 14,999 onwards)

Initially launched in India at a starting price of Rs 17,999, this smartphone is now available at a markedly lower price of Rs 14,999. This makes it the most affordable Qualcomm Snapdragon 820-powered smartphone in India. It offers 3GB DDR4 RAM and 32GB internal storage. Theres a 64GB variant too with 4GB of RAM onboard, but that retails at a higher price of Rs 17,999. Up front, the Lenovo Z2 Plus sports a 5 inch IPS LTPS display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, while the rectangular fingerprint sensor is located just below it. As for the cameras, the Lenovo Z2 Plus packs a 13MP f/2.2 rear camera with PDAF and LED flash. Its worth noting that the smartphone misses out on OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), which was available on its predecessor.

    Lenovo Z2 Plus

The Lenovo Z2 Plus runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 with Google Launcher on top. The Chinese company has also promised that a Nougat update will be rolled out for the smartphone soon.

    Coolpad Cool1 Dual (Rs 13,999)

The Cool1 Dual is the first phone resulting from the partnership between Coolpad and LeEco. Just like the Honor 6X, the most interesting feature of the Coolpad Cool 1 Dual is the presence of a dual rear camera setup. The handset packs a dual 13MP f/2.0 rear camera with Phase Detection Autofocus and a dual-LED flash. The rear camera is capable of shooting 4K videos at 30 fps. The mid-ranger also packs an 8MP f/2.2 front camera with a wide-angle lens.

    Coolpad Cool 1 Dual

Externally, the Coolpad Cool1 Dual look a lot like the LeEco Le2 (review). The design similarities are especially prominent when it comes to the front panel of the Cool1 Dual. To the front of the smartphone lies a 5.5 inch full HD IPS LCD display flanked by a set of capacitive buttons below, along with an earpiece and a set of sensors above. Powering the Coolpad Cool1 Dual is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor and 4GB of RAM. As for storage, the mid-range phablet comes with 32GB of onboard storage. Those looking for more storage space wouldnt be quite happy with the Cool1 Dual as the smartphone misses out on a microSD card slot. Another key aspect of the smartphone is its battery. It packs a 4,060mAh non-removable battery that comes with support for Qualcomms proprietary Quick Charge technology.

    Honor 6X (Rs 12,999 onwards)

The Honor 6X is the latest mid-range offering from Huaweis sub-brand. Its main highlight is the dual rear camera setup located the rear. The metal-clad unibody phone makes use of 12MP and 2MP sensors to capture an image that boasts of high depth of field. Interestingly, it also offers the ability to adjust the focus manually after shooting an image. The dual rear shooter is also equipped with PDAF for faster focussing. At the front, the 6X sports an 8MP selfie shooter. Juicing the phone up is a 3,340mAh battery which will last you a day of use.

    Honor 6X

The phablet sports a 5.5 inch 1080p display with 2.5D curved glass. The Honor 6X is fuelled by the in-house Kirin 655 octa-core processor and Mali T830MP2 GPU. It comes in two variants priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 15,999, featuring 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, respectively. It currently runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 with EMUI 4.0 on top, but Honor claims that a beta Nougat build is already being rolled out.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (Rs 9,999 onwards)

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has its task cut out as it has to carry forward the legacy of the highly-successful Redmi Note 3. Xiaomi has announced three different variants of the Redmi Note 4 in India 2GB RAM / 32GB storage, 3GB RAM / 32GB storage and 4GB RAM / 64GB storage. These models are priced at Rs 9,999, Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,999 respectively.

    Xiaomi Redmi Note 4

Xiaomi has replaced the Snapdragon 650 octa-core chip inside the Redmi Note 3 with a more efficient Snapdragon 625 processor. Combined with its beefy 4,100mAh battery, the phone delivers impressive battery life. The cameras have also received a much-needed update. It now comes with 13MP f/2.0 unit with Phase Detection Autofocus sensor and dual-tone LED flash. It packs a 5MP f/2.0 front camera thats capable of recording full HD (1080p) videos.
