The Micromax Canvas Tab P470 sports a 7-inch LCD multi touch display with a resolution of 600 x 1,024 pixels (WSVGA) and a pixel density of just 170ppi. On the inside, it is packed with a 1.3GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM to deliver smooth performance. It runs on Android v4.4 KitKat OS out of the box.

The Micromax Canvas Tab P470 is armed with a 5MP autofocus camera at the rear end. For video calling, it houses a 0.3MP front camera. It sports an internal memory of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB.

The Micromax Canvas Tab P470 runs the show with a 3,200mAh Li-ion battery which is capable of delivering up to 115 hours of talktime and up to 158 hours of standby time over 2G.
