The Micromax Canvas Tab P666 sports a large 8-inch IPS LCD multi-touch display which provides brilliant viewing from wide angles. It offers a resolution of 800 x 1,280 pixels (WXGA) and a pixel density of 189ppi. The big screen is good for reading and web browsing but may not be too striking for games and movies.

It has a waistline of 7.9mm and tips the scale at 310g, so you don't need to face any kind of hassle while toting around with it. It features a glass finished body with aluminium edges thereby exhibiting a soft but elegant look.

Processor and Platform

For driving its processes, the Micromax Canvas Tab P666 is packed with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor sitting on Intel Atom Z2520 chipset having four threads and 1MB cache. Thus, it becomes the domestic phone maker's first device to don an Intel processor. It is assisted by a 1GB RAM to ensure that you have smooth experience.

The PowerVR SGX544 graphics unit makes sure that you can enjoy games and videos smoothly on the large panel. It ships with Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS. The voice search feature also allows you to access apps and tasks simply by commanding it.

The Micromax Canvas Tab P666 is armed with a 5MP autofocus snapper with support for 1,080p video recording at 30fps. It is accompanied by a 2MP shooter on the front. It has an onboard storage unit of 8GB expandable up to 32GB.

Battery and Connectivity

The Micromax Canvas Tab P666 houses a non-removable 4,400mAh Li-Po battery claiming to provide up to 15 hours of talktime and up to 325 hours of standby time over 2G. Connectivity features include 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, USB port and GPRS/EDGE.
