The Microsoft Surface Book 2 (HMU-00001) laptop is a touchscreen device that has a quality display which makes the viewing experience all the more worthwhile. Additionally, it has a dual camera setup that accounts for both quality video recording and calling. The performance of the device is also quite good. However, a better capacity of storage and a strong battery backup would have made wonders to the overall rating of the device.
Display and Camera

The Microsoft Surface Book 2 (HMU-00001) laptop features a 13.5-inch WQHD LED Backlit IPS Pixelsense touch Screen display which exhibits a screen resolution of 3;000 x 2,000 pixels. It has a 5MP webcam placed just above the display screen which helps to make video calls while the 8MP rear-facing camera comes into play while recording videos.

Connectivity and Battery

The device comes with a host of connectivity options such as - 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac wireless LAN, Bluetooth v4.2, a headphone jack and a microphone jack respectively. The device is equipped with a 2 cell Li-Po battery which is said to provide a backup of 5 hours.

Storage and Peripherals

It has a solid state drive capacity of 128GB which by no means is sufficient for the device. As far as the peripherals concern, it has a detachable keyboard and a touchpad with multi-touch gesture support.
