Verdict
The Microsoft Surface Go (JST-00001) is a good 2-in-1 laptop which comes with a lot of strong features. The device comes with dual webcam setup which enhances the convenience. The battery is quite good to deliver a healthy period of backup. However, a better processor or a better capacity of storage would have made it a perfect option to go for around this price range.
Display and Configuration

The Microsoft Surface Go (JST-00001) features a 10.1-inch Quad LED Backlit PixelSense Display with 10 Point Multi-touch Screen display which results in a screen resolution of 1,800 x 1,200 pixels. The Space Grey coloured body weighs of around 0.52Kg.

Under the hood, the device has a 1.6GHz Intel Pentium Dual Core 4415Y processor that manages the overall performance of the system. It is further coupled with a 4GB LPDDR3 RAm that takes care of the multitasking. The graphical requirements of the system are taken care of by an Intel HD 615 GPU. It boots on Windows 10 Professional operating system floating on 64-bit architecture.

Battery and Connectivity

The Microsoft Surface Go (JST-00001) is powered by a Li-Po battery which claims to deliver a backup of around 9 hours.
The device has wide range connectivity options such as Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, a headphone jack, a microphone jack, an SD card reader and Bluetooth v4.1.

Input Device, Storage and Camera

The Microsoft Surface Go (JST-00001) has a Touchpad with Multi-Touch Gestures Enabled and a Detachable Keyboard as the input device. The device houses a 64GB SSD which is not enough for the device. The device has a 5MP front-facing webcam for video calling and recording. Also, there is an 8MP rear camera to deal with video recording.
