Display and Configuration
The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A2 flaunts a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display which outputs a screen resolution of 1,200 x 1,920 pixels. Under the hood, there is a 1.4GHz quad-core processor assisted by 4GB of RAM and integrated Intel HD graphics card. The system boots on Android v6.0.1 (Marshmallow) operating system.
Body Looks and Design Features
The gadget is well crafted in a grey coloured body which measures 272 x 196 x 16.4mm and weighs 880 grams. It is MIL-STD-810G designed, which means that the user need not worry about the device in terms of drops, shocks, vibrations, rain, dust, sand, altitude, freeze/thaw, high/low temperature, temperature shock, humidity, explosive atmosphere etc.
Battery and Connectivity
The gadget is fuelled by a 2,720mAh li-ion battery which claims to keep the show running upto nine hours when charged off and on for about 2.5hours each. In terms of connectivity, the tablet offers options such as Wi-Fi 802.11, a/ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, NFC, NFC, one USB 3.0 slot, one SIM card slot (4G LTE), a docking connector, a USB type-C (doesn't support micro-USB) and an HDMI port.
Camera and Storage
Coming to the camera, the device is armed with an 8MP snapper at the back and a 2MP shooter at the front. On the storage ground, the gadget houses an internal memory of 32GB which can be increased upto 32GB using any microSD card. The user can also make use of the OTG cable in times of need.
