POCO X8 5G 8GB RAM Expert Review Summary
Expert Rating:
![Sanket Vijayasarathy]()
by
Sanket Vijayasarathy
, 28 Sep 2026
Senior Associate Editor with 10+ years in tech, reviewed 500+ gadgets.
Verdict
The POCO X8's USP is its 9,000mAh battery, and it delivers. This phone lasts two days with ease and supports decent fast charging, though not the fastest in the segment. It also gets to boast an AMOLED display, though it sticks to a 120Hz refresh rate in a segment where rivals offer up to 144Hz. Tradeoffs include an average performance and middling secondary camera. But if battery life matters more, the POCO X8 is a worth buying under Rs 40,000.
Pros
- Excellent battery life
- Sharp and vibrant AMOLED display
- Impressive software support
- Solid build quality
Cons
- Performance could have been better
- Average secondary camera
