Verdict
The RDP ThinBook 1430-EC1 is a decent laptop packed with some standard features. The device can handle simple multitasking due to the presence of a quality processor. The battery backup is good for daily usage. However, a Full HD display and a higher capacity of RAM would have been some additional features for the user.
Display and Configuration

The RDP ThinBook 1430-EC1 flaunts a 14.1-inch HD LED Backlight display with a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. The overall performance of the device is managed by a 1.9GHz Intel Atom Quad Core X5-Z8350 processor coupled with a 2GB DDR3 RAM. These two produce a decent performance. An integrated Intel HD GPU is added to this for simple graphics needs. The gadget weighs around 1.36Kg and is available in the black coloured body. The device measures around 351 x 233 x 20mm. The laptop boots on Windows 10 Home Premium operating system sailing upon 64-bit architecture.

Input Device and Connectivity

The RDP ThinBook 1430-EC1 produce two basic input devices including a touchpad with multi-touch gesture and a standard notebook keyboard. Coming to the connectivity`s ground the laptop offers a wide range of options such as - Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, one USB 3.0 slot, one USB 2.0 slot, a headphone jack, a microphone jack, a VGA port and an SD card reader. 
 
Storage, Camera and Battery

The laptop comes equipped with a 32GB solid-state drive which makes the file transferring and storing faster. The device has a webcam which can record videos as well as helps to make video calls. The RDP ThinBook 1430-EC1 gets its required power from a 2 cell Li-ion battery which claims to deliver a battery backup of around 8.5 hours.
