Realme XT ushers in the new era of smartphone megapixel wars
Sep 22 2019 By Nitansh RastogiSo where does that leave us? On one hand, it seems odd for Realme to have so many similarly-priced devices that are slightly different in terms of specs. Between Rs 14,000 and Rs 17,000, you can purchase the Realme 5 Pro (Rs 13,999 Rs 15,999), Realme XT (Rs 15,999) and Realme X (Rs 16,999) with each of them bringing something different to the table. caption id= align= alignnone width= 1060 Realme 5 Pro (left) vs Realme XT (right) caption If you`re value conscious, then the Realme 5 Pro should serve your needs well. And while the Realme X (review) does offer premium design with a pop-up selfie camera to offer an immersive display, if you don`t necessarily need that then the 5 Pro or the Realme XT would prove to be more value for your money.Moving on from sibling rivalry, the Realme XT goes up against the triple camera-toting Vivo Z1x (review) and Samsung Galaxy M30s (first impressions), both of which also offer Super AMOLED displays and 48MP primary cameras, with the latter`s 6,000mAh battery being the pull factor. Now choosing between these devices isn`t easy, but it does seem that as an overall package, the Realme XT is unbeatable. While we could argue that the megapixel wars may not really revolutionise smartphone photography, the fact of the matter is that the 64MP snapper does offer slight improvements over currently-trending 48MP shooters.
Read Full ReviewI bought 6 GB/ 64 GB version for 14849/- I was using Xiaomi phones for past 5 years, this time, I went for a Realme phone and I am more than happy with the purchase. Using the phone for more than 10 days now and it's a treat in the budget category. My wife bought a One Plus 7 and the picture quality is quite similar I must say though One plus has the upper hand but difference is not too much. Games run supper smooth without any lag or delay. Jio works fine. The pics in 64MP mode are of almost 15-20 MB. Macro mode is also good. Back Camera - 5/5 Front Camera - 4.5/5 Night Mode - 4/5 Display - 5/5 Value for Money - 5/5 Charging and Battery - 5/5 Fingerprint - 5/5 Face Unlock - 4/5 If you are planning to buy a phone less than 20k, this is the phone you should consider buying. I am not sure about the quality of service provided to Realme phones at service centers.
Great buy under 20k. Nice Camera, Super Amoled Screen, Battery(4000mAh) is not enough for high end users but thanks to VOOC charger by which you can charge 50 % in just 20 minutes. It is doing well and one can easily say it a value for money product.
Another Realme XT phone allegedly catches fire, damaging the entire front and backside of the phone. The company has acknowledged the issue and has offered support to the victim.
Dec 29 2021 By Sai KrishnaThe customer claims that the Realme XT unit exploded within a day of purchase while charging overnight but the brand claims that external force was applied to the unit.
Jun 22 2020 By team91Set to launch in India on October 16th, the Redmi Note 8 Pro will compete against the 64MP camera-toting Realme XT.
