Table of Contents
Slim, lightweight flagship design
The Motorola Signature immediately stands out with its sleek and lightweight design. At just 7mm thick and 186 grams, it’s one of the few large-screen flagships that doesn’t feel bulky in daily use. The refined build quality, combined with IP68/IP69 water resistance, MIL-STD-810H certification, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2, makes it both stylish and reassuringly durable.
Excellent LTPO display
Another major highlight is the LTPO AMOLED display, which is a rarity in the price segment. The 6.8-inch Super HD panel delivers excellent brightness, strong contrast, and deep blacks, making it a joy for media consumption. Dolby Vision support and adaptive refresh rates ensure smooth visuals without unnecessary battery drain, and once you move past Motorola’s muted default wallpaper, the panel truly shines.
Clean, clutter-free software with long-term support
On the software front, Motorola continues to impress. The Signature runs Android 16 with Hello UI, offering a near-stock experience with minimal bloatware. Animations feel polished, customisation options are sensible, and the promise of seven years of OS and security updates makes this one of the most future-proof Android phones in its price segment.
Top-tier performance
Performance is another strong suit. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, the Motorola Signature feels fast and responsive in everyday use. Multitasking, browsing, streaming, and casual gaming are all handled effortlessly, making it one of the quickest smartphones currently available under Rs 60,000.
Average battery endurance for a flagship
Motorola’s Signature isn’t as flawless as it should have been. Battery life is merely adequate for a flagship. At a time when competitors are offering battery in access to 6,000, Motorola has decided to go for 5,200mAh. The battery comfortably lasts a full day with moderate use, but heavy users may find the screen-on time limiting. If your usage demands gaming, multitasking, editing, and more for long hours, it is worth exploring alternatives. The Vivo X200T and OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini both pack a 6,200mAh battery.
Underwhelming audio
The audio experience is another weak point. Despite Bose and Dolby Atmos support, the stereo speakers lack the volume, depth, and bass expected at this price. The setup may disappoint if you are looking for a smartphone that sounds fuller and more engaging,
Not thermally efficient
Thermal efficiency is also an area where compromises surface. While the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC is powerful, the Motorola Signature struggles with thermal management during prolonged gaming sessions, leading to noticeable throttling under heavy load. It’s not an issue for everyday use, but power users and mobile gamers may not be impressed.
