The Galaxy A5 marks Samsung s change of strategy in terms of design. We have taken it through our review grind to see if it s successful in doing that
Mar 19 2015 By Nitansh RastogiIf you’ve been following our review all along, then the verdict is pretty clear… the Samsung Galaxy A5 comes across as a worthy smartphone and offers an all-round experience. It features a classy design, which Samsung devices weren’t known for before, making it easily stand out among other offerings from brand’s portfolio. The display is pleasing, cameras are impressive and battery life is outstanding. Performance is also decent, though it’s not for power-hungry us
Read Full ReviewThis is a product review, and not related to shopping experience from Flipkart.nn1st - I noticed about this phone is its looks, which are killer. I liked midnight blue color because the contrast of silver metal edges on this color looks the best and unmatched. Its one of the most attractive phone in the market today in my view. nn2nd - It supports LTE, which is soon be useful, as all the operators are eyeing for launch of their services, and I want to have the very first experience when its available. So a forward looking capability. nn3rd - It doesn't have all the unnecessary Samsung apps pre-installed, and that's a big relief from previous versions. Out of the box I had RAM usage 1GB left.nn4th - Camera has simple menu, and good performance. Click by showing ur palm in selfie mode has made selfie easy and more perfect, and rear camera is good, but could be better. nn5th - It has Corning Gorilla Glass 4. HD Display (1280x720 - Its not FULL HD), which produces good pictures/videos, and viewing angels are superb. Readability during Sunlight is good.nn6th - With 3G Data ON it lasted approx 14 hrs, and with only on demand 3G data (used when needed), the battery lasted whole 17 hrs (with still 40% remaining). So by that its battery performance is excellent. Charging is comparatively faster too. nn7th - Touch is fluid, sensitive, OS is Android Kitkat 4.4.4 which is customized by Samsung, and it feels good to me. It has good themes, and wallpapers too to match ur mood. nn8th - Since it support 1+1 Nano SIM (both having 3G) or 1 Nano SIM + 1 SD Card trays, it has a flexibility of usage as per needs. nn9th - MRP is 25500, however you can get it in 24000 easily. Samsung S-View Cover is New Gray Color, and fits well in hand along with it. It still gives compact looks, and good grip in hands. nn10th - I wish Speaker Volume and Resolution of this Phone could be better (Full HD). nnI think if you are looking for a good brand having a service network, having forward looking capabilities (4G), eye catching looks, good battery performance, and not so heavy on pocket, this is a phone for you. Go for it ! I hope this review helps.
This is an awesome product but not for geeks ,who go for spec vs price comparision..nThis is for people who want a premium looking ,mid-range, branded phone(samsung,sony,htc..).
