Overall: I purchased this product on 29th of March 2014 from Samsung Smart Cafe. Initially I found this product good but now I can see many defects in this -nnFinally today I had to visit Service Center since the device was not in the state to use anymore.nn1...

Verdict
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is a lighter and affordable version of the successful Galaxy Tab 3. Although it comes with 3G connectivity but misses a front camera, which means no video calling. However, the tab doesn't disappoint on other fronts as it comes with a great set of connectivity options, decent configuration, great battery and ample storage.

Design and platform

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 3G features a 7-inch WSVGA (1,024 x 600 pixels) multi-touch capacitive touchscreen. It's 9.7mm thick and comes in black and white colours. The Galaxy Tab 3 lite runs Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS with TouchWiz UI on the top.   

Processor and storage

The tablet is equipped with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, supported by 1GB of RAM. It houses a built-in storage of 8GB which can be expanded via microSD card upto 32GB.   

Camera, battery and other options

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 tablet packs a 2MP rear camera with features like digital zoom, Geo-tagging, Panorama and Smile Shot. It doesn't come with a front camera. 

The 7-inch device comes packed with a 3,600mAh li-ion battery to deliver up to 8 hours of video playback. On the connectivity front, it has Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, 3G, USB 2.0 etc. The device is also equipped with Global Positioning System (GPS) with A-GPS and Glonass.
