Good tv overall nice contrast ratio but some problems with sound which can be fixed with minor adjustments on the menu. the sports mode is Great, the number of hdmi ports give you more connectivity overall great exerience
I recently picked this TV off a retail store than thru online channels and here are some of my initial thoughts on the unit.nWhy retail store? nFirst, family needed to offload an old flat screen that was starting to act up and this model was not listed on the exchange offers with any online portal. No point buying a new one at low price if we could not offload the old one with minimum hassles.nSecond, the specs and experiences of various models are never clearly listed on any of the online portals - this one or any other. Manufacturers' sites are better but again there is a limitation.nThird, to truly make a clear decision, its not about the specs all the way but the experience of looking and comparing various models side by side - flat vs.curve, HD vs. UHD, etc.nFinally, the retail stores know that they are under siege for ages from online stores and have now started to actually give good customer experience at their stores as compared to a few years back where all details about a product were read verbatim off a brochure from the OEM.nnMy initial experiences on this model:nNot wall mounted so no need to have the installation team come at their convenience;nSetup took nearly an hour as the Tizen interface was quite different and needs some refinement in the UI;nDoes not switch on like a normal unit - takes a couple of extra seconds for the screen to come on after tapping the power toggle;nNot done much on the Tizen apps but looks interesting - again the navigation via the remote needs to be optimized better - maybe a paired mouse might be better if possible;nHD inputs were proper FULL HD unlike some other so called Full HD TVs where multiple HD inputs changed to 720p;nPaired a high-end notebook via Wifi Direct and found a slight lag but much better than running thru cables - will need to test the actual performance if a High Def video were played;nThe TV's network even picked the media share off Windows Media Player but no files were seen - maybe I need to spend more time configuring this via the notebook;nNot connected any usb storage devices as the network sharing should make that hassle free - yet to test it in full;nOverall - the initial setup is a pain and this cannot be avoided. Gut feel tells me most smart TVs are the same, whether Web OS or Tizen or any other platform. Once this initial hurdle is crossed, the picture clarity, audio are quite good for a unit in this price range. Just wish there was more optimization from the manufacturer but by seeing how the updates are going on their smartphone line up, this TV is not a flagship and might not be on their list of update cycle... hope to be proved wrong.
