Display and Build

Toshiba Satellite C50-B E0010 arrives with a 15.6-inch HD Clear SuperView LED backlit display which offers comfortable viewing experience with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It is encased in a simply designed black coloured outfit which has a waistline of 26mm and a weight of 2.2kg.

Configuration and OS

At the heart of the Toshiba Satellite L50D-B 40010 there is a 2.1GHz Intel Celeron dual-core N2830 processor. It is assisted by a 2GB DDR3 RAM which functions at 1,333MHz and is further expandable up to 8GB via two DIMM slots. The integrated Intel HD GPU takes care of intensive games and videos. It lacks any user friendly OS which is acceptable for its price.

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

The laptop has been spotted with a simple webcam positioned in the bezel above the display. It meets the storage requirements of the user comfortably with a 500GB SATA hard disk operating at 5,400rpm. It also packs a SuperMulti DVD Drive which can be used for transferring data via disks smoothly. The 16-bit stereo speakers running on Toshiba Audio Enhancement software provide intensive multimedia experience.

Battery and Communication

Fuelled by a 4 cell Li-ion battery, the Toshiba Satellite L50D-B 40010 is rated to deliver uninterrupted service for up to 3 hours. Connectivity and networking features loaded in the gadget include Ethernet port, WLAN, digital media reader, one USB 3.0 slot, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI out, VGA port and Bluetooth v4.0.
