The Toshiba Satellite C50D-B M0010 comes at a very reasonable price and can deal with basic computing tasks. It sports a paltry configuration which is nothing surprising in this price range. You will have to spend separately for user friendly OS as well.

Display and Build

The Toshiba Satellite C50D-B M0010 sports a 15.6-inch HD Clear SuperView LED backlit display with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. The satin gold coloured outfit looks very appealing and has a waistline of 26mm with a weight of 2.2kg. 

Configuration and OS

Acting as the brains of the notebook is an 1.0GHz AMD dual-core E1 2100 processor. It is mated to a 2GB DDR3 RAM which runs at 1,600MHz and is further expandable up to 8GB via two DIMM ports. The integrated Intel HD GPU is capable of handling only simple games and videos. It lacks any user friendly OS which is okay in its price range.

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

The Toshiba Satellite C50D-B M0010 comes with a simple webcam and preloaded stereo microphone to account for the video calling needs of the user. The 500GB SATA hard disk running at 5,400rpm provides sufficient space for creating a library of files. With the SuperMulti DVD Drive, you can easily transfer data via disks. The 16-bit stereo speakers running on Toshiba Audio Enhancement software deliver crisp and loud multimedia experience.

Battery and Communication

The Toshiba Satellite C50D-B M0010 is fuelled by a 4 cell Li-ion battery which has the ability to deliver uninterrupted service for up to 3 hours. From the connectivity and networking point of view, it sports features like digital media reader, HDMI out, WLAN, Bluetooth v4.0, one USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 slots and Ethernet port.
