CES 2026: Acer Aspire 14 AI and Aspire 16 AI debut with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, OLED displays, and more

Acer has announced new models in its Aspire laptop lineup at CES 2026. The lineup includes two modes: the Aspire 14 AI and Aspire 16 AI. These new laptops are powered by Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 processors and are aimed at users who need reliable, everyday performance in a thin and stylish design. The new Acer Aspire AI models feature premium-looking designs, optional OLED displays, and a 180-degree hinge that allows the screen to lie flat, making them easier to use for sharing and collaboration.

Both the Acer Aspire 14 AI (A14-I71M/T) and Aspire 16 AI (A16-I71M/T) can be configured with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processors paired with new Intel Graphics to improve both CPU and graphics output for everyday tasks, creative work, and multitasking. The laptops support up to 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.

The Aspire 14 AI and Aspire 16 AI feature WUXGA displays in a 16:10 aspect ratio and support refresh rates of up to 120Hz. You can choose from touch and non-touch panels, as well as OLED display options. Both models are designed to be thin and light, with large touchpads and a full-flat 180-degree hinge. Acer says this design is meant to balance portability and durability, making the laptops suitable for students and young professionals who are often on the move.

The new Aspire AI laptops include several on-device AI tools. Acer Intelligent Space acts as a central hub for managing AI features and tools. AcerSense provides system monitoring and optimisation, while Acer PurifiedView and PurifiedVoice improve video quality and reduce background noise during calls. Acer My Key allows users to set custom shortcuts and access Copilot+ PC features such as Live Captions with real-time translation.

For video calls and content creation, the laptops include 1080p full-HD IR cameras and a triple-microphone setup. In terms of connectivity, they offer Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-A, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm audio jack, along with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

The Acer Aspire 14 AI will be available in North America in Q3 2026, in EMEA in Q2 2026, and in Australia in Q2 2026. The Acer Aspire 16 AI will be available in North America and EMEA in Q2 2026. Acer has not yet shared pricing details, and the company says exact specifications, prices, and availability will vary by region.
