Logitech has launched the G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE gaming mouse in India. The mouse is the company’s most ambitious competitive gaming peripheral so far. It introduces what Logitech calls SUPERSTRIKE technology, which fundamentally changes how a mouse click is detected, confirmed, and felt.
The Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE is now available in India in the Lunar Eclipse colour variant for Rs 23,995.
What SUPERSTRIKE actually means
Most gaming mice, regardless of price, use traditional mechanical microswitches to register clicks. The PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE replaces these switches with a Haptic Inductive Trigger System, or HITS. Instead of a physical switch making contact, this system uses copper coils to create an electromagnetic field that detects click input with just 0.6mm of travel.

The practical outcome is twofold. First, click latency is reduced by up to 30 milliseconds compared to standard microswitch designs. Logitech highlights this as a notable advantage in situations where milliseconds matter. Second, this system allows for customisation that mechanical switches cannot provide. Players can adjust the actuation point across 10 levels and the rapid trigger reset across 5 levels, allowing precise control over how far a click travels before it registers.

In addition to inductive sensing, the mouse has a real-time haptic feedback system. Haptic actuators provide tactile confirmation at actuation and reset, so players feel the click, not just hear it. Feedback intensity is adjustable across five levels with Logitech’s G HUB software.
This approach will be familiar to keyboard enthusiasts who have followed rapid trigger switches in the mechanical keyboard space, but it is a first for the mouse industry at this level of refinement.
Sensor and wireless performance
The PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE uses Logitech’s HERO 2 sensor with Power of 8 technology. The sensor supports up to 44,000 DPI, 888 inches per second tracking, and 88G acceleration. These specs exceed current demands for competitive play, providing substantial headroom for future uses.

The mouse features an 8kHz polling rate over Logitech’s LIGHTSPEED wireless connection, which allows it to report its position to the PC every 0.125 milliseconds. At this level, the difference between wired and wireless performance is nearly eliminated for practical use.

Battery life is rated at 90 hours of continuous use, which is impressive for a mouse of this weight and performance level.
Build and ergonomics
Weighing in at 65 grams, the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE is lightweight without using a honeycomb shell. It includes zero-additive PTFE mouse feet with curve-cut edges for smooth, consistent gliding across surfaces.

The mouse was developed in collaboration with professional esports organisations like G2 Esports, NAVI, and BLG. Feedback from competitive players helped shape the final design. Caps, a midlaner for G2 Esports, noted that the click latency difference during early testing felt like transitioning from public internet servers to playing on LAN, a reference that resonates with the competitive gaming audience this mouse targets.
How it compares and who it is for
At Rs 23,995, the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE is in the premium price range. Its closest competitors include the Razer DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed, the SteelSeries Prime Wireless, and Logitech’s own G PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED. While these mice are strong performers, they still use conventional microswitch designs. None offer adjustable actuation points or haptic click confirmation.
The SUPERSTRIKE’s appeal lies not only in its speed but also in introducing a new level of input customisation that has no direct equivalent on the market. For competitive players focused on input consistency and willing to invest in a hardware advantage, the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE stands out as the most technically advanced gaming mouse available in India today.
For casual and mid-core gamers, the price may be hard to justify when other capable options are available for much less. However, this mouse is not aimed at that audience.
