ONMO+ Smart Console launches on Flipkart, bringing cloud-powered premium gaming to India from Rs 4,999

OnMobile Global Limited has launched ONMO+ on Flipkart, marking its entry into India’s console gaming market with what the company calls a first-of-its-kind Smart Console experience. The system targets TVs, laptops, tablets, and smartphones, positioning itself as an alternative to traditional gaming PCs and consoles by removing the hardware cost and setup complexity usually associated with high-end gaming.

Pricing and availability

ONMO+ is priced starting at Rs 4,999 for a three-month subscription, available on Flipkart from June 26, 2026. This subscription pricing model is a notable shift from the traditional one-time hardware purchase model in console gaming. It makes ONMO+ feel more like a service than a standalone device.

What you get in the box

ONMO+ ships as a complete, ready-to-play package. It includes:

  • Smart Console
  • Cross-platform access across multiple screens
  • Hundreds of pre-loaded premium games
  • Pro Controller

Instead of relying on local hardware to render games, ONMO+ runs compatible AAA titles on custom-built gaming GPU servers developed in partnership with AMD and AsRock Rack. These servers are set up across northern and southern India to reduce latency for users in those regions.

This server-based approach is the main selling point of ONMO+. Instead of making buyers invest in an expensive gaming PC or console upfront, the heavy processing happens remotely. The Smart Console acts as a way to access that computing power on whatever screen the user has in front of them.

India’s gaming industry now has over 500 million users across mobile, TV, and PC platforms. However, premium console-quality gaming has largely been out of reach for many due to hardware costs. A PlayStation 5 or a capable gaming PC represents a significant upfront investment for the average Indian gamer.

This barrier has kept high-end gaming experiences limited to a relatively small, wealthy segment. ONMO+ is specifically addressing this gap. By replacing the hardware investment with a subscription and offloading processing to remote servers, the company believes that affordability and accessibility will appeal more to the wider Indian gaming audience than owning dedicated hardware.

ONMO+ enters a cloud and console gaming landscape that is still evolving in India, but it will face competition. It will be interesting to see how ONMO+’s pricing, game library, and latency compare to established cloud gaming services like NVIDIA GeForce Now and Microsoft Xbox Cloud Gaming, both of which are steadily expanding in the area.

This hybrid model might appeal to buyers who want something tangible alongside the subscription. The performance of this combination, especially regarding latency and game library depth, will become clearer as the service reaches a wider audience after its June 26 launch on Flipkart.
