Made entirely of clear polycarbonate, the case is ultra-thin and featherlight, weighing just 35.4 grams. If you have spent any time with the Fold8 Ultra, you will know that it is already a slim foldable at 4.1mm when unfolded, and the Air Skin Zero adds almost nothing to that. The design philosophy here is the same as what Spigen calls the “no-case look” — you get the protection without feeling like the phone is wearing a case.

The fit on the Fold8 Ultra is precise. The cutouts around the USB-C port, speakers, and camera module are clean, and the case does not interfere with the hinge operation in any meaningful way. The clear polycarbonate lets the Fold8 Ultra’s finish show through, which matters if you picked the phone in one of Samsung’s premium colour options. The MagFit magnet ring is integrated cleanly and works with MagSafe-compatible accessories without any noticeable impact on the case’s slim profile.

The Air Skin Zero also offers hinge coverage, which folds and unfolds smoothly when folding or unfolding the Fold8 Ultra. You won’t feel any resistance, and Spigen claims the hinge protection was tested through 100,000 folds. You also get two raised corner guards that protect the corners when folded. When unfolded, the raised guards can feel a bit uncomfortable if your palm accidentally rests on it, but it’s not a dealbreaker.

It is compatible with both the Fold8 Ultra and the Fold7, and the package includes two screen protectors — useful if the first application does not go perfectly.

Application is where Spigen puts in the most effort here, and it shows. The EZ Fit Pro tray system includes an auto-alignment tray, two cleaning wipes, a microfiber cloth, and dust removal stickers. The process takes a few minutes:

• Wash your hands and use the cleaning wipe to remove dust and oil on the device.
• Place the back of the phone on the installation pad
• Use the microfiber cloth after wiping to dry the screen

The result is a bubble-free, perfectly centred application that would be difficult to achieve without the tray. It is one of the more user-friendly screen protector application systems I have used.

In daily use, the glass is clear enough that you do not notice it on the screen. Touch accuracy is not affected, which is the most important thing for a display where gesture navigation is central to the experience. The privacy filter works as described — anyone looking at the screen from the side sees a darkened display, while the view head-on remains clear. For a phone that is frequently used in public on commutes or in offices, that is a meaningful feature.

If your priority is keeping the Fold8 Ultra as slim and light as possible while still having a layer of protection, the Air Skin Zero MagFit at Rs 2,099 is the right choice. It does not pretend to be a rugged case — it is a minimal, well-fitting clear case that protects against scratches and light bumps and lets the phone’s design breathe. Pair it with the Glas.tR EZ Fit Pro Privacy at Rs 1,599, and you get the added benefits of screen scratch protection and a privacy filter in a package that applies cleanly and holds well. Together, both products cost Rs 3,698, which is a reasonable investment for a phone that costs Rs 2 lakh.
