The Vivo X3S is designed to grab attention with its ultra slim body and iPhone like design. It features a powerful configuration and impresses with quality cameras. However, its features don't justify its high price.
Display and Design
The Vivo X3S features a 5-inch IPS multi touch display with 16M colours, HD resolution and a pixel density of 294ppi. The main attraction of the device is its ultra slim profile which measures 5.95mm around the waist and has a weight of 153g. Its design resembles that of an iPhone.
Configuration and OS
At the helm is a 1.7GHz Cortex A7 octa-core processor based on MediaTek MT6592 chipset. It is paired with 1GB RAM to deliver robust performance. Rich videos and movies are handled by the Mali-450 MP4 GPU. It runs on dated Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.
Camera and Storage
The Vivo X3S poses a 13MP autofocus camera at the back and supports geo-tagging, face and smile detection, touch focus and LED flash. It can shoot full HD videos at 30fps and is accompanied by a 5MP front snapper. It supports 16GB of internal memory which is non-expandable.
Battery and Connectivity
The Vivo X3S is fuelled by a 2,000mAh Li-Po battery promising up to 14 hours of talktime and up to 450 hours of standby time over 2G. Connectivity features come in the form of 3G, Mobile hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth, USB Host, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and USB port.
