Ordered it on 8th recieved it on 9th and installed on the same day ... great service about the LED color reproduction looks good usb supports all the readable devices attached 1tb hdd looks good has 2 HDMI and a VGA port which should come in handy as well so far no cons a full HD tv for 17k after exchange is a steal of a deal let's see how's the quality
A couple of observations after buying this TV - Video: Video files encoded in XVID and AVC will work without issues (AVI, MKV, MP4) Video files with an m4v extension will not be detected. The default picture settings are extremely loud and need to be toned down by editing the user presets. The sharpness needs to be reduced and so does the color and contrast. Noise reduction can be disabled. Tint is greyed out and by the looks of it there is no way to edit that value without getting into the service menu of the TV. Unfortunately I have been unsuccessful in identifying the service menu code for this model. You may notice a slight yellowish tinge on certain channels in spite of changing white balance to cool. Please note that user preferences would need to be saved separately for difference devices... therefore you'll need to re-enter the picture and sound settings for your D2H or DVD player which may be connected through HDMI or DVI or RCA, as well as movies played over USB separately. Viewing angles are great and the TV seems very responsive. UI is poor but gets the job done. I read that this TV supports NTFS too which would be awesome for reading larger files. Audio: Video Files encoded with AC-3 (Dolby Digital) audio will play silently as audio will not work. Video files encoded with the following audio codecs will work without issues: AAC, MP3 and DTS Build quality: Good build quality, would have been nice if 1 HDMI port was on the side instead of both being at the back. The 2 USB ports (on the side) are too close to each other but get the job done. Installation/Demo: The engineer from VU didn't show up so I got it done myself. Support info on the internet: None that I know of... there is no mention of firmware upgrades on the VU website and neither could I find any technical assistance number/email. Overall this TV is value for money... I'll probably give it 7.5/10
