The best “Budget 40+inch Premium Quality Television within 30k” of 2015-16 is finally here. nnIt’s a beast of a display and is surely a pleasure to one’s eye.nThe splendid A+ grade IPS panel is the ultimate alluring factor of the device and it does stand up to the potential of much higher priced IPS televisions with same size specs.nThe panel used, is a perfect blend of glossy and matte, i.e, right in between, and is perfect in my terms.nNeither does it reflect light abnormally, nor is it dull by any means. nAt 1080p, the output is crisp, clear and sharpn60fps video/games played smooth with No lags what so ever with no noticeable Ghosting. There wasn’t any input lag either, while playing with PS4 and PC.nThe games looked crisp and gorgeous.nThe audio input jack was of top notch quality metallic build, with incredible quality 3.5mm aux intake. nFor audio, nthe headphone jack is decent enough for headphones only as it cannot sustain high gain devices,nFor connecting Speakers, do use the AV out 3.5mm jack. It’s perfect and No, there isn’t any hissing noise/sound at all (like the previous 40'' model)!nI Tried F&D F6000U at full volume, but there was not even 0.1% of audio noise, and the sound quality was great. nThe TV’s two 8W speakers are very decent too.nGood Highs and Mids, while average Lows. n2 USB ports, nboth are usb 2.0 @5V~500mA, nBut plays back 1080p @60fps without any lag.nThe device is also completely versatile with Pendrive/HDD file system.nSupports NTFS,Fat32 and exFat file system.nSupports most video formats too, but certain Audio Codecs (most commonly AC3,DTS decoded audio) weren’t supported, So in some video files sadly, only the video was being played, which may be resolved by the VU team with a software update soon, As this TV does support updating the firmware via pendrive within the settings. nIn the box:nTV,nStands,nWall Mount Brackets and required screws,nRemote,nWarranty Card,nManual,n2 AAA Batteries nPros:n•Looks – 9.8/10n•Sound – 8.8/10n•HDMI Output Quality – 10/10n•Clarity – 10/10n•No input Lagn•No ghostingn•Very good Response Time @8msn•Versatile Media Player in terms of File “SYSTEM” support nCons:n•Only 2 HDMI input jacksn•No HDMI/VGA/RCA cables providedn•Audio Codec support is quite limited in the TV’s Media playern•No USB 3.0 supportn•The HDMI, VGA, Audio in jacks are present at the back of the TV. nnWarranty: n1year onsite warranty free (anywhere in India, call the customer care number and a personnel shall visit our premises to rectify the problem)n nDelivery & Packaging:nThe box was handed with intense care as per dents are concerned.nThe TV was well packed with a separate layer of sponge pad just to project the screen, along with 4 heavy duty thermocol padding all around, within the company's box.nThe delivery person even asked me to check for physical damages if any, before leaving. nnSo overall, nthe final verdict is, nat this current time and date, you won’t be able to find any better looking TV with such top notch high quality performance nAnd its main con being the Non Versatile Media player in terms of “Audio Codec Support” can hopefully be rectified by VU soon, via a firmware update.nBut you can always play those videos over HDMI through your Blueray Player or any other device that outputs HDMI and supports those formats.nThe build quality is very charming, covering up the captivating and gorgeous display, with a beautiful champagne gold colored brushed metal bezel at the bottom while black on all the other 3sidesnAnd icing the cake, the size of all those bezels being just 0.9cm nThe device, I can assure is by far, much more than what you are paying for.nMaking it the most decent and Value for money TV available right now at this price point. nAlso do check the YouTube unboxing of this TV that I did earlier:nIts an experimental unboxing video with (voice over audio review) to cut short time.nAnd also please use the link in the YouTube video description, of this item, in case if you decide to buy the TV, as it does help the channel. n(Search with the text below on YouTube and also enable the "English" subtitle, if the audio sounds dull) : nnVu 43D6535 43inch(IPS) LED TV unboxing by Sayan Mitra along with voice over review(Multitask)nnornnVu 43D6535 43inch(IPS) LED TV Preview by Sayan MitrannornnVU 43D6535 Gaming Preview plus additional content
I bought this TV after lot of careful considerations. All the other options from Sony and LG are almost double the price at stores! The product is good if you can live with the cons - Myths : Plays all videos Truth : Doesnt play AC3 Dolby digital audio. Videos with AC3 are mute on TV Myth : Cant sync with DTH remote Truth : Syncs perfectly with all DTH. Had to call my Airtel engineer to sync DTH though. Myth : Has a flexi wall mount Truth : Wall mount is fixed. Its like a picture hung on wall. If you need a swivel mount buy one with Vesa 200x200 (not 300x200) Myth : Back panel ports are hard to reach Truth : Not at all. USB ports are just 6 inches from edge. I am using table top. If you wall mount it, HDMI can be accessed from below (6 inches from bottom). Myth : Sound is low Truth : Play with the equaliser and you can get the best sound possible without woofers. Sharp and crispy. I have a 10x20 feet room, cant play volume more than 35 Myth : Remote is filmsy Truth : Better quality remote than my Airtel DTH. Matt finish, heavy and sturdy. Doesnt have fancy lights like Lg thou ;) Myth : Lack of service Truth : Service responds to calls. Though they are a bit time bound (operates 10AM to 6PM). Found service centre in Kolkata, manohar pukur road. service centre guy (Mr.Bairagi-9330996852) explained details of extended warranty. Peace of mind for 3yrs! Myth : Sony or LG is far better Truth : For 25K extra this is what you get in an LG 43" tv- 1 year extended warranty (Rs.5000) Swivel mount (Rs.1500) AC3 codec support comparing side by side VU has about 2% less contrast. Clarity and response time is equal. Sound is better than LG. I am using for 4 days. Will keep updated if I come across anything. Thanks.
