VU LED50K160 50 inch (127 cm) LED Full HD TV

ORDER RELATED nOrdered it on 22 Jan 2016 (REPUBLIC DAY SALE) and received it by 27th of jan 2016, When i ordered this on 20th jan it cost me around 33999 and after the order has been placed after 2 days 2000rs price has been droped it was for 31999 i canceled my order and reordered it with the latest price at that time (31999) :P So ppl here reviewing it that they are frustrated with the flipkart lol i say in my case it was opposite i was happy that a new price was for around 31999. Saved 4000 or more approx that helps me to extend my warranty so thanx a lot for the republic day sale @Flipkart nPhysical overview- nMade up of plastic hate it actually i have another LED 43inch which of the same brand VU it is actually an IPS model (VU 43d6535) that LED has an xcellent build quality i would say.So i am really not liking the build quality of it even the table top stands are made up of plastic (heavy plastic) but in the same case with my another VU 43 inch model the stand was od aluminium (metallic) nVIDEO QUALITY- nOh God how can people say here that they have noticed grainy effects while playing HD videos, well for those who is playing HD video seems like your video is having some resolution problem i guess did you people played a non HD channel (Standard Channel) even on this TV , believe me guys even the non HD channels are great for viewing instead of that i have played AC3 codec file, 720p ,480p yes guys even the 480p is giving a great result and if you actually play the 1080P video you will surely amazed . not even this if you play any video VIA vga (CPU) thru 15pin wire then you will love it .So no issue regarding that and yes just turn off your auto black system in the system setting of this TV. nnAUDIO QUALITY- nYes this is the issue only i have noticed and its a major issue two ports are there for the 3.5mm connectivity one is working another isnt and the quality of the audio output that this TV gives is really bad I have connected my 5.1 speakers with it but i feel like i have connected a 2.1 it was a low bass sound output actually and in this department my another VU's 43inch model is GOD so AUDIO is poor really poor it just a normal audio coming from your connected speaker and audio from the TV is average it shows in the specs 10wx2 but when i increase it approx 60-65 then i only notice some little loudness 10w is a good1 but i dont know why is it happening -. nVALUE FOR MONEY nOf-course YES when my friends came to my room and then they saw the video quality they weren't believing that it cost only that much.i have seen some other brand's TV in the showroom specifically the same 50inch model i have noticed the screen is not wider enough but when you will see this TV's wideness you will be shocked it is not at all look like a 4:3 or a little wide that we see on the mall now a days.Pretty good design after all. nVU 50k160GP (NON IPS) VS VU 43 D6535(IPS) nAUDIO- 6/10 9/10 nVIDEO- 9/10 8.5/10 (Many latest Codec not supported) nOVERALL- 9/10 9.5/10 nCOLORS- GOOD 9/10 10/10 nBlacks- 10/10 10/10 nI have both 43inch and 50inch now nIf your planning to buy a TV (in FHD 1080P) i suggest you to go from the these two model if you are the guy with music and loudness go for 43inch IPS model and if you are generally use you PC for watching videos/Movies then 50inch is a great buy nAnd m not gonna give 4 stars for an audio issue every device is having some of the minor/major flaws, because of the quality of the picture, i am giving this a 5 stars :) nHit like if you like else no for unliking it :) nnUPDATE - AUGUST 2016 (NEW) nnFor real review watch the unboxing,gaming and overall review of 'Extreme TechForce' on youtube of this 50inch model just type in searchbox 'Extreme TechForce VU LED TV' and you will get alll the details related physical overview and howz the videos are playing does it have grainy or not just check it on that video :) nnGOOD BYE

I am also frustrated because Flipkart reduced another Rs2000 next day after I bought the tv!!! Smooth ordering and delivery experience from Flipkart. Was delivered next day and installation was scheduled the day after. However we choose to self install it,Easy to fix table top stands. That apart, TV has 2 HDMI and 1 USB and not the other way around as mentioned by Flipkart. SD channels on the TV look good (using Tata Sky). HD looks good. Sound quality is average. Connected 1TB WD HDD, movies played out fine. Slight stutter observed sometimes. Played out movies and photos out of pen drive formatted as NTFS. TV is good but down rating as I am upset with Flipkart.
