Redmi K20 reviewed
Jul 19 2019 By Prateek PandeyThe Redmi K20 starts at Rs 21,999 in India, but my review unit was the higher-end model that costs Rs 23,999. For the price, the phone offers reliable performance, good cameras, stunning design and much, much more which should make it an easy recommendation. But, as much as I like the phone, I`ve come to expect too much from the brand when it comes to pricing. While the Redmi K20 is a good phone, the cheaper Realme X (review), which is a stellar handset in its own right, comes across as better value for money. Xiaomi`s own POCO F1, which, at least on paper, should be better than the Redmi K20 in terms of performance, though cameras and design are another story altogether.Given its pricing, the Redmi K20 gets squeezed between cheaper rivals like the Realme X, and its own Pro series sibling, making it difficult for me to recommend it wholeheartedly.
Read Full Reviewsuperb excellent cam quality performance and display every thing was extraordinary and the pics were taken in different times i completely fell in love withredmi k20😍
it has been 10days now, the phone is smooth. i went for k20 and not the pro purposely. just for snapdragon 855 it wasnt that worth spending the extra buck. i got these 18250. now the things i like the most about this phone, i already own a pixel2xl for photos. my primary device was oneplus 3t now its k20. nobody comes even close to the software experience by oxygen os, so miui is kinda so so. but atleast you can do a lot of customisation. pros. 1. amoled display that too no notch, + always on display 2. battery is good. quick charging is also good 3. audio output through headphones is great. i use a boult 500rs headphone as well as sony extra bass ones, both the output is good, i really love that because good music with punchy bass always matters to me. 4. i like minimal customisation , like changing the icon packs and fonts. so i like as it lets me do these 5.960fps slow motion. cons. 1. front camera images are too reddish. redmi note 7pro images are better 2. should have a dedicated volume slider or a dedicated google assistant button, you can configure the power button to hold 0.5 secs. but its mostly hit and miss. not having that makes me feel the gap. The phone is a good value for money.you can go for realme xt or x. but since we should always buy phone on experience and not on specs. i would always pick the k20 if the budget is 20k
