First off , really fast delivery by Flipkart, less than 20 hours. nnWhats in the box?n-Phonen-AC charger(Indian pin), 5v , 2ampn-USB Cable nnNo ear phones with the phone nnnExperience with the phone . nnn-The phone seems pretty good , build quality is okay , not great , not terrible. Its all plastic. The back is a finger print magnet , and the back gets pretty slippery with prolonged use. The phone is a little bulky and little big . But If you are used to phablets its not going to be a problem for you.nn n-The screen is vibrant and really good for the price , you will not notice any pixels unless you put your eye on the screen.The screen does have Gorilla Glass 3(Hugo Barra said so himself in an interview) nnn-The buttons are sturdy,no problems here. nnn- MIUI is okay,I'm not a big fan, but I guess that's my personal choice some others may like it , you can use launchers , or have a pure Google experience with Google Now Launcher , which I'm using. nnn-There were two updates when I started the phone , sadly neither were updates to KitKat , just some minor updates. nnn-I noticed a little lag here and there , first I thought it was MIUI , but even after shifting to Google Launcher I noticed a little lag once in a while , it's not so bad that you wouldn't want to use the phone , it's bearable and happens once in a while(so far)nn n-Did not notice any heating problems, it heats up a little when charging and using at the same time , but all phones are like that. nnn-You can uninstall a lot of the pre-loaded apps if you want to.nn n-I don't really play games , and this phone is for my father who is not going to play games anyways , so I can't comment on the performance. I played subway surfers for a while just for the sake of it , the first time it had a little lag , but the other times I played it , it was fine , no heating either . Don't know about games which are heavier on the processor. nnn-This phone had a better benchmark score than my Nexus 5 on AnTuTu , but don't let that fool you , it is in no way as fluid and snappy as a flagship phone(which cost way way more) . But at the same time it hasn't troubled me so far. nnn- Camera is 13 MP at the back ,5 MP on the front, Those numbers sound great , but i'd say at the very best it's an OKAY camera . Maybe I didn't use them in different lighting or whatever . But its still okay , nothing very impressive as you might expect with numbers like 13 and 5 . At the same time for 9k its good enough I guess , you can't expect more. nnn-Call quality was good , the ear piece and the mic both are good, Signal reception on both SIM slots was good. nnn-Speaker is okay , not the loudest , but it does fine. It's on the back so you will end up covering it when you are using it. nnn-It does have a multi color LED notification light as well . nnnOverall , the phone is really good for the price you are paying, I haven't encountered any problems in whatever short time I've used the phone. nnThe only problem is , Its still on Jelly Bean 4.2.2 , there's no comments on whether it will get an update to KitKat let alone Lollipop from Xiaomi. nnThe random lagging here and there is bearable , not much of a problem . But I hope it doesn't increase over time. nnBuild quality , size and user interface are subjective , some may like it , some may not. nn4 stars , because no KitKat and the lags which happen once in a while. nnI hope this helps you!nWill update if I find any problems. nnnUPDATE: nThe lag was being caused because the CPU Power Saver was turned on in Settings->Battery>Battery Use nI turned it off and there is no lag whatsoever right now. nnP.S Install "Themer" from the play store , the themes look great on this display!

Hi All,nnI Received Redmi Note on 4th december 2014.Looks wise Mobile is pretty good.After 10 minutes of Mobile setup it just hanged and never powered on.nnI have received a faulty product.Logged the call with flipkart.Iam unsure, when I will receive the replacement.Its very heart breaking to find a new mobile immediately going bad.nHope for a speedy replacement.nnRegards,nMahesh
