The Yxtel M701 is a decent combination of tablet and smartphone with a large and rich display. On the performance front, it can be politely termed as average. Although you can stream videos seamlessly, the tablet can stutter if you run too powerful games and applications. Go for it if you are looking for a tablet experience at a low price.
Cheap tablet-smartphone duo
The Yxtel M701 features a 7 inch, LCD, 16M colors display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor and 512MB RAM. It runs on the Android v4.0 OS (Ice Cream Sandwich).
 
The slate has a 2 MP rear camera and supports video calling with the 0.3MP front shooter. It comes with an onboard storage capacity of 4GB. Connectivity options included in the Yxtel M701 are 3G, Wi-Fi, USB port and GPRS with EDGE.
