Unremarkable

I am disappointed with this phone.nnBut that is not how it all started. I was super excited and eager to get my hands on the phone. I watched all the Youtube video reviews, read-up everything online and even participated on the creosense.com forums with my suggestions on future enhancements. But read on...nnTHE UNBOXINGnnI don't know where I read it, but there was some buzz online about the phone being "Made in India", and I got a rude shock when I found out that the phone was made in China. Maybe it was my mistake in understanding what was said or implied.nnSecond came the overall looks of the phone. Disappointing. It looks like a brick, weighs like a brick, and feels like a brick. I don't know why the online pictures look so sleek but the phone in hand looks underwhelming. And I don't know where all this "gun-metal black" is coming from, the phone I got had a silver bezel. Unless, silver is the new black. The truth of the matter is, the phone simply lacks design refinement, and it is an amateurish effort, looks-wise. It does not look ? 19,999/- worth (e.g., an equivalent Sony Xperia model).nnApparently, Creo is shipping out phone covers to all initial buyers. Way to make a big phone bigger (and uglier) still. nnTwo thumbs down.nnINITIAL IMPRESSIONS nnAfter installing the SIM, SD card and booting-up (with no problems), the near-stock Android was just that; ok, but nothing great. One pleasant surprise are the Creo apps, well made, with good GUI and (probably) working without any problems. Sense, Echo, Messaging, Retriever, all work well, no problems there. Creo has put some effort into it. But the Android customization itself is lacking any major changes and there are no attempts to smoothen the rough edges (of Android). nnSurprisingly (considering the complains over the creosense.com forums), I did not find any heating problems (during usage or charging). It does get warm, as could be expected, but nothing too bad. nnThe 21 megapixel camera (or the camera software) is a huge disappointment; the photos were patchy with no detail. Colour accuracy too is lacking. Photos look worse than those from my 5 MP camera on my Lumia. It looks like this could be fixed via some future software update. I didn't bother with the front facing camera. nnIn this particular case the 2.5D Gorilla Glass is a disadvantage twice over. It neither adds to the looks nor does it enhance the functionality. If one's fingers were to accidentally touch the edges while holding the phone, it mis-registers any screen touches. Like I said, "lack of design refinement." Also, the touch-screen sensitivity could do with some tweaking; many many times, I found touches mis-registering or not registering.n nWith a phone so big, one would expect the battery to last a whole working day, but I never got more than 7 hours (to 5-7% battery). This was with *no* extra apps installed. Maybe battery life would improve over time. nnTHE LAST STRAW nnThen came the screen flickering problem... it happened at random times, possibly with the adaptive brightness switched on and is very noticeable (and distracting) with screen brightness less than 30%. I'm sure this can be fixed with a software update, but my patience had run out. nnI requested a return, Flipkart accepted, and I don't have to look at this phone again. I expect more of my ? 19,999/- nnTHE BOTTOMLINE: The Creo Mark I is an unremarkable (even mediocre) phone with a great sales pitch.

Rather purchase Iphone by paying the same amount.

This phone is just like a brick. Shape, size & weight just makes a person feel like he's holding an heating brick. nCamera quality is worst, if we take into account that the front is 8 MP and back is 21 MP i think its 2 MP and 8 MP respectively. nSince today you must have seen hot boys hot girls, now here the CREO MARK 1 presents to you the hot mobile. It heats up always, no matter what you do. nWhat to say about the touch, if you are going to buy this you are going to pay 20,000 bucks for hitting your phone on its face, trust me. nSpeaker of the phone is imported from some chinese manufacturing company or else may be india has started producing some caste based speakers, in which general category has no right to hear what the other person says over the phone clearly. nOne more thing you can also press your dresses by this phone ;) its so hot & biggg man !

A good phone with some bits!

I was waiting for this phone and the second it was launched, i was one to order it immediately. Received yesterday and had been using for more than a day now. first i would like to mention the cons of the phone:n1. Heating issue : the phone gets super hot while playing games on wifi or using some heavy apps.n2. Build quality : The phone looks decent but build quality is not upto the mark as expected.n3. Weight : the phone is bit on heavier side as compare to other phones like one plus two or one.n4. No phone cover: as mentioned on many websites, that phone is shipped with free case but the one i received does not contain any of these nor any screed guard on phone.n5. Packaging : the packing of the phone is not worth for one spending 20k.n6. Fingerprint sensor : These days, even 7-8k phone are offering this feature, i wonder why creo people forgot or did not gave this feature in the phone.n7. Wifi: as mentioned on flipkart, the phone only supports b/g/n/ac networks and not the a one. which i think flipkart should rectify it.nnNow lets look at the pros:n1. looks: the phone has looks to die for. all glass which feels like premium.n2. screen: the screen quality of the phone is just the best i would say. with so much clarity, one would not ask for more and i bet after using this, one would not be able to use other phones.n3. Software : The software has many unique features like sense, echo which are very useful thought. The software is not much modified to stock android like one on samsung's which hinder the performance of the phone.n4. Spare part list: i think creo is the first mobile company which has mentioned its spare parts list on its website which is most useful in case of fault out of warranty as service centre people always loot customer with exorbitant charges for which customer is never made aware of. n5. speed : the phone with octa core and 3 GB RAM works super fast without any lag or any delay in processing the data. n6. Gesture : the gesture feature in the phone is very much useful feature for easy usage of phone.n7. Monthly update: this is unique feature which creo people are offering to update phone every month that too guaranteed with feedback from the users about the feature or bug they face using the phonennThis is my opinion regarding the phone. The phone is great but i think the phone should have been prices around 15k which i feel is genuine price of the same.

Love Echo So So Useful

The biggest plus is the software. It has been a day since I've started using the phone and I've already received one fuel update improving the performance. These guys really listen. Really looking forward to the first update on 13th May.nnThe phone is super cool hardware wise also. The best parts are the screen and the camera in hardware. The slightly negative things are the minor warmth you notice while you play games for a while but nothing unmanagable. nnTotally worth the 20K!! 5 Star from my side! Hope the 13th May update comes on time :)
