Samsung and Dell laptops at this price range are far better than what this laptop has to offer. I bought this one on Snapdeal accidentally and I do not like it a bit now. Though the storage capacity is good and it is light weight too but the battery is poor and speakers are the worst that I have used. I sometimes think that it was all a waste of money but gadgets like these are somehow needed some time of the other. This is why I have not sold it to someone till now. Acer has come up with many different products in the past so I trust this brand completely. I have used its computers, laptops and other devices too. Anyway, when my 15 years old daughter asked for a notebook, I could not resist the urge to buy an Acer and I selected this Aspire model. The rest of it is story but for now, my daughter is pretty happy with her gift and she uses the computer for designing her projects, playing games and socializing on the internet. This is why it is one of the best that one can choose to go for and if you are considering going after the best, it is wise that you go with this model. I invested money in it and I get the return. I was in a dilemma when I was about to buy this laptop for my kids and I took a chance which I think was a good one. I was very particular about the battery on this one and even though I had read on the specifications section that this laptop would offer at least 2 hours, I was not convinced. Well, two hours in nothing these days. When the laptop arrived, I first charged it to the full battery and then handed it over to my kids after installing some games. They played and played till I stopped them after four hours and the battery was still half empty. Well, to my surprise, this laptop still delivers around eight hours of battery backup so Snapdeal should make some changes to the specification section. A couple of months back, I did not knew anything about computers. I had no idea how it worked and how we got to run the applications and software on it. So I took up a computer course in my neighborhood and they started the course with making me learn how to refresh the screen and how to create a new folder. Well, silly as it may seem, now I know more than enough to earn a job as a front desk person and to help aid my computer education I bought this laptop. Needless to say, it is perfect for beginners who are learning the basics of computer and Windows. I bought it on Snapdeal when I saw it was available at the cheapest price and the laptop was delivered within two days. The Black color of this Aspire computer is good in a way as one does not get to see fingerprints but yes, dust shows easily. I am very pretty happy with AMD dual core processor and it works on all my commands easily and smoothly. I do not run a lot of software at a time, so lagging is not an issue for me. There is 2 GB RAM supporting the processor and it works good. Apart from this, I really like the speakers on this one which produce ample sound to watch a YouTube video or listen to the music songs. Screen size of 11.6 inches is also perfect according to the price and there is a webcam as well. I think that this laptop is value of money and investing in it is a wise command by any learner. I do not feel the need to upgrade this laptop for many years to come and as this computer comes with Windows 7, I am not lacking behind on the Operating system technology much at all.
