Verdict

The Acer Nitro 5 is a value for money device, as it has got the features that one can ask for right from the sound processing configuration to the strong battery backup to excellent storage capacity. It just not the storage capacity or processing feature or the strong battery backup it also has got display and design which instantly catches the attention of the user.  

Display and Storage

The Acer Nitro sports a 15.6 inch Full HD LED Backlit IPS display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. For storing data and media files the laptop comes with a 1TB HDD hard disk drive storage capacity. The Acer Nitro 5 is available in Black colour option and weighs around 2.7kg. 

Configuration and Connectivity

On the performance front the laptop is driven by an Intel Core i5-7300HQ(7th gen) processor which has a clock speed of 2.5Ghz. The processor is seated on an Intel HM1785 Express chipset and is coupled with an 8GB DDR4 RAM which goes beyond mentioning that it adds on to the overall  performance level of the laptop. For enhancing the gaming experience the laptop comes with a 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050. The regular connectivity options that is provided in this laptop are- Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n, and Bluetooth v4.1.   

Battery, Camera and Input Device

The battery component of the device is equipped with a powerful 4-cell Li-ion battery, which provides a battery life of 7hrs. Just at top of the screen it has a front webcam for video calling. The input device which is available in the laptop are - a touchpad with multi-touch gesture support and a standard notebook keyboard. Other regular features that one can find in this laptop are - an SD card reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack, and a VGA port.
