While it may be a great device for a particular class of people, it could not suffice the requirements of others.
Affordable and efficient
Display and Design

The Chromebook C720 is a sleek and lightweight device by Acer; it runs on Google's OS Chrome, hence the name. Coming with an 11.6-inch Acer ComfyView LED Backlit TFT Display, it has a physical dimensions of mere 288 x 204 x 19 mm and weighs only 1.2 Kg. It is very light and highly movable as compare to normal laptops. With a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels screen, it shows amazing display quality but lacks the enigma of a Full HD display. Overall, it's a very smartly built device perfect for regular travellers, who love style and comfort.

Processor and OS

The C720 Chromebook derives its power from an Intel Celeron Dual Core 2955U processor with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz. Although, processor is rather slow and out-dated, but it still performs wonderfully in this small notebook. All the memory processing is handled by a 2GB DDR3 RAM, which is expandable up to 8 GB. The Main distinguishing point of this device is its operating system; it runs on Google 64 bit OS Chrome instead of Windows or Linux, normally seen in India. Operating System is fast and user friendly, though it lack overall functionality of Windows.

Camera, Storage, and Multimedia

The Acer Chromebook has a 16 GB solid state storage as primary storage unit, which is very fast and feels premium, but lacks any other device for data storage. User will have to carry an external hard disk to work with this device, which is rather inconvenient. The notebook is equipped with 1MP Acer Crystal View Web Cam, which works effortlessly, while in use, for either video chatting or face recognition. Acer has also laced it with a digital data card reader, which can prove useful some times. For music lovers, it has been furnished with 2 HD Audio Solution Stereo speakers; they harvest excellent sound quality and music listening experience on this device is quite good.

Connectivity and Battery.

This rather small device is powered by a 3 cell Li-Ion battery, which runs ceaselessly for 8 straight hours. This is one big advantage of these small chrome books, they run a long time due to small machinery. There are all the other functions like DVD RW, Bluetooth, WLAN, etc. available. They helps this Acer device to connect to internet and other devices.
