The Acer Aspire ES1-512 (NX.MRWAA.013) laptop is a perfect choice for the ones who are tight on budget. Although the processor is not strong but one must notice that low budget laptops do feature poor processor. Keeping that beside, the laptop is a clear cut winner to buy in this price segment. A large screen size with ample amount of RAM and great battery backup, makes this laptop worth buying.

The Acer Aspire ES1-512 (NX.MRWAA.013) laptop flaunts a 15.6-inch HD widescreen cinecrystal LED backlit display and boots on Windows 8.1 operating system. It has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels and measures 381 x 259 x 25.4mm. In order to run the system, there is a 2.1GHz Intel Pentium quad core N3540 processor assisted by 4GB of DDR3 RAM. If not sufficient, the user can expand the RAM upto 8GB. The laptop weighs 2.4Kg and is available in black coloured body.

Connectivity and Camera

Networking options include Ethernet 10/100/1000 BASE-T, Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, two USB 2.0 slots, one USB 3.0 slot, an HDMI out, a digital media reader, a headphone jack and a microphone jack. The user can make use of an integrated 0.3MP webcam for video calling and recording purposes.

Storage and Battery

In terms of storage, the user can create a library of files in the 500GB SATA hard disk. It revolves at a speed of 5,400 revolution per minute and is a good performer in grounds of file transfer, copy, edit, paste etc. Acting as an energy provider, is a 3 cell li-po battery which claims to keep the entertainment on upto 4.5 hours.
