It comes in an affordable price range budget and offers good features such as - sound battery backup, pre-installed Windows OS, ample storage, etc. The webcam resolution is not as good which indeed is a common element in almost all laptops around this budget. The Acer ES1-523 (NX.GKYSI.007) flaunts a 15.6-inch active matrix TFT color LCD display which has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It measures 381.8 x 258 x 24.6mm and weighs 2.4Kg. Driving the system is a 1.5GHz AMD APU dual core E1-7010 processor coupled by 4GB of DDR3 RAM seated upon Intel HM77 Express chipset. The laptop runs on Windows 10 Home Premium operating system floating upon 64-bit architecture. It is available in a black coloured body which is shiny and glossy.

Camera and Connectivity

Like other laptops, the Acer ES1-523 (NX.GKYSI.007) also features a webcam above the display screen. It has a resolution of 0.3 megapixels can record HD videos (720 x 1,280 pixels). Networking and sharing options include a Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, one USB 3.0 slot, one USB 2.0 slot, an SD card reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a VGA port.

Battery and Storage

The laptop sips its juice from a 3 cell li-ion battery which claims to deliver a backup for around 4.5 hours. In terms of storage, a 500GB SATA hard disk is available, where one can create a library of files.
