It is housed in a 23 mm thick silver colored casing which has a weight of 2.2 kg. Although the dimensions are decent, they are far from that of an ultrabook.

At the heart of the laptop, there is a 1.5GHz Intel Core i3 processor belonging to the 2nd generation series. It works in combination with a mere 2GB DDR3 RAM which is normal in this range. For better performance, you can expand it up to 8GB via 2 unused memory slots. It runs on 64 bit Linux OS, which is quite complicated in nature.

The Acer Aspire V5-471 NX.M3BSI.005 Ultrabook carries an Acer Crystal Eye 720p webcam to guarantee smooth handling of high resolution video calls. It takes care of your storage needs with a 500GB SATA hard disk.
