Display and Configuration

The Amazon Fire HD 8 16GB comes with a 8-inch IPS LCD display and has a screen resolution of 800 x 1,280 pixels. Under the hood, there is a 1.3GHz Cortex A53 quad-core processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM and Mali-T720 MP2 seated upon MediaTek MT8163 chipset (64 bit architecture). The device runs on Android v5.1 (Lollipop) operating system and is available in many colours - Black, Magenta, Blue and Tangerine.

Camera and Storage

The device sports a 2MP camera at the back which can capture an image upto a resolution of 1,600 x 1,200 pixels. For selfie lovers, there is a 0.3MP at the front. On the storage field, the device houses an internal memory of 16GB which can be expanded upto 200GB using a microSD card. Additionally you get free, unlimited cloud storage for all your Amazon content including unlimited storage on photos  

Battery and Connectivity

The device gets its energy from a 4,750mAh li-polymer battery which can  be fully charged around 6 hours using the micro-USB power adapter.
