Display and Design
The Netbook has a 10.1 inch Non Glare display that supports a maximum resolution of 1366 x 768 Pixels which is an upgrade from its predecessors. The design has been retained from its ancestors to maintain the small and compact fit. The Netbook has the typical Chiclet Keyboard and the touchpad supports Windows 8 features which is a plus.
Processor and OS
The Celeron Dual Core processor that comes with the Netbook clocks at 1.1 GHz. It`s slower than its predecessors but does not hamper performance. The processor functions without any glitches in case of office applications, net browsing, watching videos, etc.
The setback on the features would be the free DOS. It is a primitive OS platform and is hardly being used anymore. But it can be loaded with Linux or Windows and supports up to Windows 8. It even has the Windows 8 start key and touchpad features.
Camera and Storage
This Netbook has the 720p HD front facing camera which is a change from the predecessors` specs. The internal storage is expandable up to 2 GB only and the model comes with a 2 GB DDR3 RAM. The model comes with a 320 SATA HDD but is also compatible with SATA SSDs.
Connectivity and Battery
The Netbook comes with three USB 2.0 ports and one appreciated USB 3.0 port alongside HDMI, VGA and Multi Card slot. It supports an RJ45 LAN and is also equipped with Bluetooth 4.0. However, owing to Netbook sizes, as usual, it doesn`t come with an Optical Drive. The power is delivered by a 6 cell battery which delivers up to 6 hours on constant use.
