Flipkart did it again! They shipped the item on the day they said an got it delivered on the exact day they had said! It says white, but what was delivered is a silver-black beauty! Far better than the white one! But as said, there was no pre installed linux. Only ASUS Express Cloud. I'd to install Windows, and thankfully, it works perfectly in this. :) The system gets hot very soon, and sometimes even when not in use. Runs fine on windows 7 ultimate. All the drivers are downloadable from Asus's website. Lap comes with driver cd for windows, but guess they forgot it lacks a cd drive! blueRay and 1080p movies play great! Windows rating is 3.6 Best buy under 20k!!

i don't know if its a fault of asus or flipkart never has good asus products.. the netbook has visited the service center 7 times within the warranty period.. it feels as if all components have been stuffed in the device and not connected properly.. all components ( power on button, sd card slots, usb ports, screen) stops responding every now and then.. out of which the power on button has given me most trouble, i bought this product on December 21st 2012.. as i mentioned earlier this product had been sent to servicing for 7 times already.. problems started right after 1.5 month from purchase.. so flipkart would not replace my product as its been more than 30 days.. 3 months since the last servicing.. all the problems have started again.. i have asked for warranty extension or a product replacement.. but they wont agree.. buy at your own risk.. product was permanently discontinued right after my purchase.. seems as if they had this faulty product.. and wanted to get rid of it..

This netbook supports Windows 8 Metro UI without any need of tweaking. All 10.1 inch netbooks have resolution of 1024 x 600 & does not support Metro. Windows 8 requires a screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768 To snap apps, you need a screen resolution of at least 1366 x 768 that is native to this netbook.

Awesome Notebook under 20k Buy this if you need a notebook with - Sleek Design(I have a silver one and it looks very stylish) - Good battery back up(comfortably gives around 6 hrs) - Portable/light weight(Major+ for me) - Good computing performance(easily handles multitasking, not tested for gaming) - Soft Keys + Great keyboard(does not attract dust) - Instat On(startup takes less than 10 seconds) - 3 usb ports+ 1 HDMI port Cons: very minimal I would say - Slightly stiff touch pad buttons(I would suggest to buy a mouse anyways)
