The Asus Fonepad ME371MG sports a 7-inch, 1,280 x 800 pixels resolution, IPS LCD, 16M colors display. It is backed by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2420 processor teamed with 1GB of RAM and PowerVR SGX540 GPU. It poses multi-touch screen with up to 10 touch points and proximity sensor, accelerometer, light sensor and compass. It runs on the Android v4.1 OS (Jelly Bean).

The Fonepad ME371MG flaunts a 3.15MP rear autofocus camera capable of recording 720p videos and supports video calling with the 1.2MP shooter at the front. It boasts of an 8GB of internal memory along with a microSD slot and supports attractive connectivity features in the form of GPRS, Bluetooth, micro-USB port, 3G, EDGE, Wi-Fi and GPS/AGPS with GLONASS. The phablet enables the users to enjoy a maximum talk time of 32.5 hours and a standby life up to 751 hours that too on 3G network.
