The Asus ROG Strix GL553VD-DS71 laptop flaunts a 15.6-inch full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) anti-glare display and boots on Windows 10 operating system. For running the system, there is a 2.8GHz Intel core i7-7700HQ processor seated upon Intel HM175 chipset. It is coupled by 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics engine.
Body Looks, Battery and Connectivity
The laptop measures 383 x 254 x 30.5mm and has superb stylish looks. It has a 'V' type design on top with red colour stripe and there is also a sticker type design in the middle. It is very well crafted in black coloured body which weighs 2.4Kg. Acting as an energy booster, is a 4 cell li-ion battery which keeps the show running for long hours. Networking options include a Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.0, two USB 3.0 slots, an HDMI out, one USB 2.0 slot, an SD card reader, a headphone jack and a microphone jack. There is also a reversible USB Type-C port available for hyper-fast data transfer.

Like other laptops, the Asus ROG Strix GL553VD-DS71 also features a webcam above the bezel. The user can enjoy video calls and shoot recordings when needed. In order to save a large number of data files, the laptop houses a massive 1TB SATA hard disk which revolves at a speed of 7,200 revolution per minute.
