Overall: i wonder why some guys highly rate this 2nd gen laptop. its funny to know that Clock Speed of 2.2 GHz ,8 GB DDR3 1333, 2 GB DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GT 635M and HDD RPM 7200.... simultaneously output a performance that it even runs hardcore games like bf...

Verdict
The Asus N55SL-S1050V is a powerful all-round notebook and is built for high end performance in every department. Features like Blu ray DVD combo, HD webcam, four USB ports, sound graphics plus terrific speakers, HD webcam and extra storage space make it a great deal. However, despite of spending so much, you will face troubles in terms of portability thanks to its heavy and chunky design.

The Asus N55SL-S1050V features a 15.6-inch HD LED backlit display with a typical WXGA resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. From the outside, the device appears to be extremely sophisticated thanks to its glossy metal frames, soft palm rest and piano glass cover. But it will pose huge problems if you plan to carry it due to its high thickness of 35.5mm and an equally imposing weight of 2.7kg. The glossy finish attracts fingerprints and scratches and needs care.
