The Asus X200CA netbook comes with a 11.6 inch TFT LCD display with a display resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The small screen size and high resolution ensures that the images and videos are crisp every single time. It is encased in a polycarbonate body which is extremely light, weighing at only 1.5 kgs enabling it to be carried around everywhere with ease.
Processor and Configuration
The laptop is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core celeron processor based on intel’s HM76 express chipset. This is augmented by 2GB of DDR3 RAM which ensures that applications run seamlessly and it also has the option of upgrading it to 4 GB of RAM for additional memory. The graphics is handled by Intel HD 3000 graphics processor which enables it to play high end videos with ease without any stuttering. It comes inbuilt with DOS OS allowing the user freedom to install any OS of their liking.
Multimedia and Storage
The netbook is enabled with a 1.2MP primary camera with dual microphones making it highly convenient to use it for video conferencing on the go.It, however, does not include a DVD drive.
The storage is handled by a 500 GB hard disc drive running at 5400 RPM giving it ample memory to store large quantities of applications and media.
Connectivity and Battery
The netbook comes with the latest in connectivity including Bluetooth v4.0, 2 x USB 2.0 Slots, HDMI port, WiFi b/g/n, etc. All this is powered by a 3 cell li-ion battery which guarantees a battery life of over 3 hours, making it a highly convenient multimedia device on the go.
