I began researching on Laptops about 5 months ago. I was looking for i7 Processors, obviously, it's been more than 2 years since the i5 Intel came out.This was undoubtedly the BEST bundle I found.nThe Asus X Series X53SC-SX223D is not only one the best priced, but strangely, one the best laptops i have ever used.nAs a home laptop, I understand that it is more than required, but for people who like computers with high configuration,who will not regret this purchase.nnPros:n1. The screen is INCREDIBLE. The resolution is amazing.nn2. Moving on to sound, this Asus Model introduces Altec Boom Speakers which equalise sound to perfection (Even at the level that it's comparable to VAIO)nn3. Then there's a major worry of battery life. The SX223D has a 6-cell battery ALONGWITH a very special feature: When you put on your computer, a gadget is available in Windows 7 which allow you to switch between High Performance Mode and Battery Saving Mode (3 hours and 6 hours respectively)nn4. As For Movies, It's simply brilliant. I've also taken the liberty of testing it's 2G i7 Processor which has 2.2 GHZ normally, but can produce more than 3.3 GHZ using turbo boost.nn5. The SX223D is one of the best Gaming Laptops i've ever used (Comparable to Dell Alienware). It has a NVIDIA GeForce GT 520XM which anybody would know to be fantastic. I tested Crysis on it, and it was gaming heaven !!nn6. It comes with 1 HS or USB 3.0 port and 2 USB 2.0 Ports. So data transfers are insanely fast. Also it DOES have an HDMI port so you can connect it to your Laptop to your Tv !! It has a headphone jack and a mic jack for your enjoyment.The Touch Mousepad gave me no problems and you can even scroll in this one.nn7. Lastly, it IS the best priced Laptop featuring 2G i7.nnnCons:nn1. It has a 0.3 internal webcam unfortunately. However, I doubt you'd find any laptop at this price with a better one.nn2. It's screen is neither 3d nor touchscreen.(I know I know, I am being petty)nn3. It's RAM is 4 GB (Hey! this IS cons.I have to be picky)nn4. It's a bit heavy (About 2.5 KG..... what?? I'm weak..)nnBut in all seriousness, It IS THE BEST Laptop one could wish for (For now).Asus After-Sale Services have also been good. They have on-spot service in Major cities.I ASSURE you,Dell and Sony or HP can't even compare to this baby at this price
Got 1. The best among all laptops acc. to digit. got 2nd place in performance & 1st in price & processor. sony gives i7 but 2 cores . this one gives 4 cores. frndz its a quad core i7.. like intel core2quad.Altec lansing boom speaker. Also it has got super ice cool technology system which gives more cooling.. its ASUS made... we know ASUS conquerer in ALL computer related items... I would definintely prefer over DELL XPS..(both in price & specs)
I bought this product 15 days ago. Before I was bit susceptible about buying this type of gadget from flipcart. I bought some books and a Pen drive before this (with no problem and 3 day delivery time) from flipcart. I decided to buy this product and it working amazingly well. I wounder who do the packaging stuff for flipcart coz it was difficult to take the laptop out of the packet. The packaging was so seal proof that it was literally impossible to do and damage or steal by currier guys. In the end I want to say just one this Flipcart roxxxxxxxx !!
Very atractive product & reasonebaly priced best in its class as compared with others specially hp, my suggestion pls dont buy hp laptops as they are crappy as always heating problem.I am planning to buy this pirtualr model but pls provide more details on the product like color date of launch.i am very happy with the bundel deal
Got this laptop delivered on 8th Feb. Flipkart service & packaging are old news now :) (BTW they were excellent!). What is important is - this laptop is an absolute sizzler. I am struggling to find a single flaw. Generous use of aluminium gives it a very sturdy look. Display is gorgeous, keyboard is awesome (backlit caould have been even better but hey see the price tag too!). Laptop is fast and how! Ubuntu 11.10/Mint11/Mint12 works out of the box. These distros boot under 45 seconds. A 7200 rpm HDD would have certainly made it under 30 secs. Wifi, bluetooth, HDMI everything just works under Ubuntu. USB 3.0 is wicked fast!!! All in all a great value considering specs. Dell, Apple, Sony would have charged a fortune for such specs. Loving every moment with it. Cons (everything else is pro :)) -5200 rpm HDD -No back lit keyboard -Average battery
