Asus X53TK-SX056D Laptop (APU Quad Core/4 GB/320 GB/DOS/1)

The spec sheet of this laptop is amazing. nQuad core A6-3420M 1.5GHz upto 2.4GHz turbo [AMD Llano apu family]nAMD Radeon 7670M 1GB DDR3 dedicated graphicsnnBut all these come at a price....the A6-3420M processor is slightly outdated and performs only as good as a 2nd generation i3 processor.The reason being that this CPU was released into the market in dec 2011. It may have 4 cores but benchmarks tell a whole different story, the second generation i3-2348m performs slightly better in benchmarks.The L1,L2,L3 caches are responsible for this.L2 cache is 4MB but L1 and L3 caches are absent in A6-3420M whereas you get 3MB L3 cache in Core i3, hence the benchmarks for the intel i3-2348m are better.nnHowever the dedicated AMD Radeon 7670M 1GB gaming grade graphics on this laptop tell a whole different story. This card can max out all kinds of recent games thrown at it.nYou usually don't get this type of gaming grade graphics at the price range this laptop is being currently sold.nnDriver support for 64-bit windows 7 and 64-bit windows 8 are available on Asus website.nLinux OS family also support this laptop, you can easily install ubuntu on this laptop but to max out graphics performance you will need windows 7 or windows 8.nnThere will be issues related to battery life and heating.Battery life can go upto maximum 4-5 hrs but you cant complain much about it.Overheating is not avoidable if you are using it for gaming (turbo mode overheats the laptop), hence a good cooling pad is recommended.nnTherefore for this price range you cannot get a better gaming laptop than this.This laptop is also recommended for CAD professionals.

i bought it from a local dealer. the overall performance is good, takes 30 seconds to start in win7 and 15sec for win8 battery backup is fair about 5hrs the screen reflects,which some times may annoy u... gud for multitasking, no hang. very good overall experience, with asus drivers.
