Touch pad doesnt work on ubuntu

Overall: Be warned due to it touch pad issues this doesn't work on Ubuntu, even external mouse is extremely buggy and unusable.

Verdict
The mighty processor-RAM combination present in the Asus X550LD-XX082D makes it a mighty performer. The rich graphics processor along with quality speakers can make any game freak fall in love with it. However the device lacks a portable design and a user friendly platform. A better battery was expected as well.

The Asus X550LD-XX082D has been spotted with a 15.6-inch TFT color display with the standard resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. Its thickness of 31.7mm and weight of 2.3kg make it quite anti portable. However Asus makes up for its chunky design with a superb grey finish that is bound to make heads turn.
 
CPU and Platform
 
At the heart of the Asus X550LD-XX082D, there is an Intel Core i7 4500U CPU from the 4th generation series galloping at a high clock speed of 3GHz and paired with HM76 Express chipset. Assisting it is an equally mighty 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 RAM to which an additional 8GB can be added if required. The graphics bit is handled proficiently by the 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 820M graphics card. It comes preloaded with DOS which means that you have to install a user friendly operating system.
 
Camera, Storage and Multimedia
 
The Asus X550LD-XX082D also has a webcam to support clear video calls and is equipped with a 1TB SATA 5400rpm hard disk which provides ample space to stuff a large volume of important documents as well media files.
 
There is a Super Multi DVD Drive to transfer data through disks. The stereo speakers act on SonicMaster technology and provide the perfect boost while playing games or watching movies on the large panel.
