It's just been a day since this refrigerator has found its cozy corner at my rez. So far so good. Quick and timely delivery by Flipkart, followed by great installation support provided by Bosch (it took them less than 6 hours to send across their technicians for installation and demo). The big machine runs like a charm with the lowest hum. It cools the compartments down real fast. Bosch provides with the two ice packs, that I found really nifty! Well done Flipkart and Bosch. More detailed feedback later.
This is a very poor quality fridge and I would highly recommend no one buys it. Cooling in the daily use section (not freezer) has not been good enough since the day the fridge was installed and all our fruits and vegetables are spoiling in a day. I did not expect this quality from such an expensive product. I also called their customer support at Bosch and service engineers never show up. They always claim they 'service engineer called and you didn't pick up'. But when I have registered an appointment, then they should show up at the scheduled time rather than calling. So finally I got them to come in the evening and the person said he needed another 'device' to check cooling / stats and will come on Monday. He didn't turn up on Monday, so we booked another service request - again 'we called and you didn't pick up' - even though appointment was scheduled for a fixed time and they could have just showed up. Once again, I called to book another service request - engineer was supposed to come today, but didn't and no call. And now when I call their customer support, they say 'someone from concerned department will call you'. This is no way. If you have so many concerned departments, then fix the fridge, clearly there are departments but not concerned. Welcome to German engineering!
