1. First of all the box is darn huge..... 2. Once you unpack it...you wonder how i am going to set it up...... 3. Then grab the quick setup booklet.....not the larger setup book.... 4. The printer itself has guide stuck in the ink drum portion of how to remove the ink drum plastic orange stuff. 5. Just follow the guide, take out the drum remove the orange protection plastic. 6. Then place in the drum...slides in back easily. 7. Remove all the blue tapes sticking here n there...... 8. Then hook up to direct power point...i tried hooking up to UPS, it caused it to beep....so this is a power guzzler. 9. The usb port is is the same as all other printers. 10. The setup is easy, yes they provided CD for setup, better go to Brother site and immediately register our printer and download the driver...you get the latest version. 11. Setup is soo easy. 12. Strangely..all over the printer were dust smudge like it was kept in a moisture room. Just wipe it off with computer cleaning solvent. Rest is history.....scanning is soo easy and printing is silent......
