Best point and shoot camera

If you have an SLR and you want a light weight camera without compromising on the quality of pics. This is the one.nnMy analysis:nnHD VIDEO: 35 minutes.. 4GB.. nWhile video recording with full battery it runs like 70 minutes..nnPhotos: I have taken up to 450 Pics one fully charged battery...nn4GB is it enough? Definitely yes. in an SLR the max size of each photo would be 4mb . Here it barely touches 2Mb per pic. You can easily have a 4GB.nnYou can cover an entire evening/morning program with this.nnI recommend this camera. It's really good.

awesome camera, must buy.

Forget the cybershot(s) and the coolpix this is the best portable camera that is available right now.nIf you want a portable powerhouse and don't want to or are not ready for an SLR go for this one, it's a must buy.

Best pocket size camera

This is the best pocket size camera that you could get. I say could because Canon changed to the S100 which is actually a step down from the S95.nnThe image quality out of the S95 is among the best in the point and shoot world and it can stand up to prints of even more than 18 inches. Colours are always life like with accurate contrast and saturation. The LCD display is gorgeous and photos look so crisp and enticing on it. The unique front ring and control dial setup are an ergonomic delight to use.nnThe camera has a lot of advanced control options (flash power, manual focus, custom white balance, fixed focal lenght, selective colour etc). At the same time, it doesn't overwhelm with too many options at once. The auto & program modes are able to get a large variety of situations right and when you have to make an adjustment, the controls are laid out easily so you can get what you want. There is also a C mode where you can customize all the settings to your preferences and save it.nnBattery life could have been better. It's possible to get around 170 shots on a full charge with minimal flash and around 120 with mixed use. Turning off some options like continuous focus tracking and decreasing the screen brightness also helps. The good part is the battery is charged in an additional adapter so you can buy a second battery and have it charging when you are using the first. nnThe camera is also priced on the higher side for a point and shoot but it is definitely value for what it delivers. If I wanted another point and shoot in this budget, I'd definitely buy another one without a doubt. And for that reason, I rate it 5 stars.

the picture quality is very good..and there are lots of feature to play.but one thing is not operating in my cam is the lens ring.i tried it several times.but its not working.
