Canon PowerShot SX260 HS Point & Shoot Camera

this one is a really awesome camera to own, picture quality is also really good. 20x zoom works well and can be taken to 80x with digital zoom. full manual options such as PASM makes this camera suitable for the ones who like to test and experiment with their cameras. although canon says that the battery lasts only 230 shots, i have got around 260 along with video recording. low light imaging is also good(but remember to use P mode and keep the ISO in the range of 400-800) flash works well in dark areas. Handheld night scene mode is also a treat to have. all other effects such as fish eye etc also give promising results 1080p recording is also good (with slight noise of the motor while zooming)..i can live with it slow motion is an fantastic feature(check youtube videos, they are impressive) for the ones searching for good image quality in travel zoom cameras look no further than the SX240 HS/SX260 HS, this one is way ahead than TZ-30(noise in pics even at ISO 100) and S9300(better than panasonic) in IMAGE QUALITY.

Awesome camera with compact structure. if u wanna buy a compact & weight less one having many advantageous feature i would suggest this one. The image quality is too good for this kind of camera. 20x zoom adds to it great one. Flash performing wonderful on low lights. Slow motion pictures(see youtube vidoes), zooming, many featured modes to shoot photos are excellent. For beginners this would be a good camera to have. One thing is while holding, the flash pops out suddenly which makes our hands to move to other positions. you gonna hav great shoots with this. happeee to own this.
