The Dell Latitude 14 3440 carries a sharp looking 14-inch HD LED backlit Anti Glare display which has a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels and prevents harmful reflective rays from reaching your eyes thereby protecting them from fatigue. With the brushed metal finish existing over the lid and palm rest, the machine definitely carries an upmarket feel. It has an impressive thickness of 25mm and a weight of 2kg and is extremely solid.
CPU and OS
On the inside, the Dell Latitude 14 3440 is packed with a 1.7GHz Intel Core i3 processor from the 4th generation series and based on HM87 Express chipset. Assisting the CPU is a regular 4GB DDR3 RAM expandable up to 8GB. For better management of rich graphics, the laptop relies on the integrated Intel HD 4400 GPU. It is devoid of any preloaded GPU which is a huge disappointment.
Camera and Storage
The Dell Latitude 14 3440 is armed with a webcam positioned in the bezel above the display. It accounts for the storage demands of the user with a standard 500GB SATA hard disk. The presence of 8X DVD RW Drive gives you the scope to stream even high quality movies, games and software from disks with utmost ease.
